Droga do granicy przepiękna, pogoda wspaniała jedziemy i podziwiamy. Już step dookoła. Po trzech godzinach dojeżdżamy do granicy. Prawie pusto. Wszystkie formalności na obu stronach zajęły jakieś dwie godziny. W tym czasie rozszalał się deszcz. Przeczekaliśmy i dalej w drogę.

Zapakowali mnie do karetki i zawieźli do szpitala. Tam zbadali i wykluczyli poważniejsze zagrożenia.

Znalazł hotel, przyprowadził mój sprzęt i nawet wniósł bagaże. Serdecznie mu za to dziękuję. Prawdziwy kompan.

Day 18
376 km, Ulan-Ude (RUS) – Darkhan (MGL)

The road towards the border is beautiful, the weather is great. We are riding and looking. The steppe  is all around us. We reach the border after three hours. It’s almost deserted. All the formalities on both sides take us about two hours. It starts to rain at the time. We wait it out and set off again.

I felt faint behind the wheel. After around one hour of driving I just wanted to reach the next station because I felt that it’s bad and I’m not going to ride further. On a station in the city of Darkhan I felt terrible; after leaving the toilet my condition didn’t change. I knew that I could hardly reach my motorcycle. I did it, then lied down on the wayside and fainted. I woke up when a paramedic from an ambulance was checking my blood pressure and touching the belly. Thanks to these activities my consciousness returned. They put me in the ambulance and took to a hospital. They examined me there and rejected more serious threats to my life. The diagnosis – overheating the organism. What an overheat in this temperature!? I bet that it was an acute food poisoning. I lied for 3 hours, they rehydrated me and I went back to the form. Here’s a nice hotel so we have an unplanned stop.

What’s the most important – Andrzej! My words really fail me. From the moment I fainted he took care of everything: me, two motorcycles, our things left, jackets, my helmet. He went with me to the hospital and then returned, found the hotel, brought my equipment and even my luggage. I thank him so much. A true companion.

3 komentarze do “Dzień 18 (Ułan-Ude – Darchan)

  1. Marcin, ostrożnie myśleć o jedzeniu! Kotlety, staram się nie jeść wołowinę. Lepsze kawałka mięsa, owoców, warzyw. Jedz jedzenie, które jest trudne do bałagan. Musisz antybiotyk od infekcji jelit. Musimy antybiotyk w postaci tabletek. Drink instrukcji. Dobry antybiotyk – chloramfenikol. Jeśli tak nie jest, poproś farmaceutę.

  2. Marcin wysyłam dobre myśli i mam nadzieje ze wracasz juz do sił! Brawo Andrzej!!!

  3. Witaj podróżujący !!! Martwię się o ciebie! Będziesz mieć dobre zdrowie i dobry sposób zabawy!
