We always finish our ride around 6 p.m. and then observe a repetitive mechanism (the same thing occurs in other countries of this journey). From sunset only a few people come to such hotels and it seems that the hotels should be bankrupt because they don\u2019t have customers. Then dusk begins and within one or two hours cars arrive every minute. Usually around 10p.m. parking is full and there are no rooms available. Now you need a navigation to find another motel in a town nearby.<\/span><\/p>\n Omsk is a great city with over 1 million inhabitants. We used the southern bypass but saw how the city in the distance is living\u2013 cranes, chimneys, lorries. We crossed river Irtysh. It is broad and dangerous. The water was rapid and muddy because of heavy rains and wind.<\/span><\/p>\n We found two hotels by the road outside Omsk \u2013 our today\u2019s plan is completed. The first one was full. The second one still had rooms. It was awful but standard inside was pretty good. Such situations are normal here.<\/span><\/p>\n Tomorrow we will ride to Novosibirsk and spend two days in the city. We rented a flat. Normal, in a block, it must have a bathroom and a kitchen. We must do the laundry, dry it and buy something. \n In the morning we left Ishim in the rain. I hoped that we could escape it because the sky in the east was brighter but we didn\u2019t have a chance. We rode on a poor road, our speed reduced to 10 km\/h whereas it was the official M51 motorway. On a station we put our waterproofs on and went further east to Omsk with low speed but at one moment our pace increased. We hadn\u2019t booked any hotel for today. Omsk is too close to stay for a night and Novosibirsk is too far. Thus we had planned to sleep in a motel after passing 100km from Omsk. My Garmin has hotels in his database so the risk was low. On the other hand hotels are located by the road and navigation wasn\u2019t necessary.<\/span><\/p>\n
